The Department of Computer Science held a master dissertation defense

Niran Ali Abdulhussein defened her master dissertation entitled “User Recommendation System based on Web of Things (WoT)”. The dissertation presented a study on the use of deep learning algorithms, including the GloVe algorithm developed by researchers at Stanford University and its use as a news article recommendation technique, using the MIcrosoft News Dataset (MIND) , which consists of 1 million users collected at the end of 2019, and an accuracy of 71.211% was achieved, thus achieving the second place globally for the state of the art platform. The thesis has been successfully accepted.
