A faculty member at the Department of Mathematics, Ghassan Abdulamir Ali Al-Jaifari, had published a joint scientific research with Prof.Dr. Aqil Jassem Harfash, University of Basra. The title of the published paper is” Analysis of a nonlinear reaction-diffusion system of the Fitzhugh-Nagumo type with Robin boundary conditions”. The authors reported that the work focused on analyzing the system of reaction-diffusion equations of the Fitzhugh-Nagumo (FHN) type on open bounded convex domains with Robin boundary conditions. Also the Classical Faedo-Galerkin approach Lions and compactness arguments are utilised to show the existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence on initial data of weak and strong solutions.
At the end, we would like to mention that the journal is Ricerche di Matematica which belongs to Springer International Publishing, Q1.
