Master’s Thesis in the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics Discussing the Handprint

Recognition System based on Siamese Neural Network Algorithm The Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Computer Science Department, discussed a master’s thesis entitled “Handprint Recognition System based on Siamese Neural Network Algorithm”; by the student Fatima Ali Amin. The study aims to propose an approach based on the Siamese network for handprint recognition to determine whether two images belong to the same person or not. The proposed approach consists of two convolutional neural networks (CNN) that share weights and are trained to extract features from handprint images, which are subsequently compared. The thesis has been successfully accepted.
