A first responder rescue awareness training at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics

The authorized lecturer Ahmed Abdel Amir Jabr and the Commissioner Asaad Hassan Abdel Amir from the Health Department/Blood Bank gave an awareness workshop on “The First Responder in the Field of Rescue” at the Faculity in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Defense and the Health Department of Najaf Al-Ashraf. The lecturer covered first aid and firefighting techniques, as well as the fundamental steps that need to be taken in the event of an accident or fire.

Additionally, the speaker covered the topic of what to do if someone faints, as well as the proper techniques for performing CPR, cardiac resuscitation, and other related procedures. The procedure for securing the airway was then briefly discussed. The college administration’s plan to promote a culture of preventive awareness includes organizing this presentation. which strives to educate students, instructors, and college staff about the different kinds of fire extinguishers, their uses, and how to handle a fire.
