Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics welcomes Al-Aqeelah intermediate school.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Kufa welcomed students and teachers of the Al-Aqeelah intermediate school in Najaf in a scientific visit in order to familiarize them with the different scientific departments within the faculty and the nature of university life. The students toured the faculty accompanied by scientific and administrative assistants. Mr. Hussein Al-Nomani welcomed the students and supervisors as he gave an explanation about the system of study in the faculty and the methods of teaching in the study halls and laboratories. Then the administrative assistant Mr Salam Hassan Al-augby gave a lecture for students about computers and the importance of using this technology in the present and future. Later, lecturer Ertifaa Abdul Kadhim presented a lecture on mathematics and its importance in our daily life; moreover, the students attended a joint lecture with the students of the faculty. The dean of the faculty, Dr. Kadhim Al-Janabi, welcomed the students and teachers of the school where he said that the faculty is ready to welcome the students from the schools to have a look at the faculty to encourage the students of the Ministry of Education to excel and join the faculty in the future.
